Mark your calendar for another Great Judo Weekend – September 21 – 23

Due to the overwhelming success we had at last year’s events, the IWJA and Chu To Bu are again sharing the venue for the 8th “All Women’s Judo Championship” and the 17th “Rock and Roll Capital of the World” tournaments, Sept. 21-23, 2012.

Both events are the same weekend at the same venue the Cloverleaf Recreation Center, 8525 Friendsville Rd. Lodi, Ohio 44254. One Drive for 2 events.

The 8th All Women’s Championship is on Saturday the 22nd (Click here for the flier) and the 17th Rock & Roll “Capitol of the World” on Sunday the 23rd ( Click here for the flier).

The 8th “All Women’s Judo Championship” is a female only Tournament. This event is open to National and International competitors and affords female competitors to enjoy more matches than they have ever gotten at any event. Last year’s Iron Woman Award went to two competitors who tied at 11 matches each.

Both male and female (National and International) can compete in the 17th “Rock & Roll Capital of the World” Judo Tournament.

Both Male and Female (National and International) can attend the “All Women’s Judo Championship” Referee, Kata or Technical Clinics (clinics and clinicians TBA).

Frances Glaze will be giving a Kime no Kata Clinic after the competition on Saturday. The Referee Clinic will also take place after the competition and the practical portion will be on the mat Sat. Chief Referee TBA. Male and Female Referee are invited to Referee both Sat and Sunday events and may participate in the Clinics.

Bring the family. Have a real family judo outing. Get two events in one weekend, at the same venue, one drive.

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL Pre-register by Aug. 1, 2012 for the AWC and pay $25.00. No charge for any extra divisions.
