2020 Michigan Open Judo Tournament Cancelled

I regret to inform you that Michigan Judo is canceling the 2020 Michigan Judo Championships.

The tournament had been scheduled for March 22. 2020 in East Lansing, Michigan.

Our host Michigan State University has announce cancelation of face to face classes in reaction to the Covid-19 outbreak .

Anyone having pre-registered will receive a full refund in the coming weeks.

Again we regret that we must cancel 2020 Michigan Judo Championships but the safety of our players and families must be our primary concern.

LOCATION: Michigan State University, IM West Building, East Lansing MI

PURPOSE OF TOURNAMENT:

Evaluate your skill level against peers at your approximate weight, age and belt level.

TIME:

  • Registration – 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  • Referees meeting – 11:00 AM
  • Kata – 11:15 AM
  • Shiai – 12:00 Noon

ENTRY FEE:

  • Advanced Registration postmarked by January 21, 2015: $25.00
  • Late registration or registration at the door: $35.00
