Grand Slam Team Invitational and Holiday Party, Saturday, December 29, 2012

November 4, 2012

Hi All,

I will be holding the first annual Grand Slam Team Invitational and Holiday Party, Saturday, December 29,2012. This is truly an invitational. Teams have been invited from:

  •  MSU Judo
  • Southside Dojo
  • Alliance AZO
  • Snyder Dojo
  • Saito-Wee
  • Oakland
  • Troy Judo
  • Godai Judo (Host Club)

We will hold it at 12:00 noon on 12/29 in my dojo. We have one full mat surface and a scoring board. Thus there is no set up or tear down. We will run it as 4 man teams so the smaller clubs can compete too. 4 minute match times. No yokos will be scored. A trophy will be awarded for first place.

Once done we will have a pot luck holiday party at my home. (Wives, families, girlfriends, all are welcome).

The tournament entry fee will be $50 per team. All proceeds going to Konan. This will be a sanctioned event so you will need a valid membership to one of the national organizations.

This one is for all the marbles, the whole enchilada, bragging rights for Michigan! Not to mention a lot of fun and good fellowship at the holidays.

Please click here let me know if your team is in!
