December 11, 2011 – After nearly two years of work, USA Judo’s Board of Directors this weekend approved the first draft of the organization’s Strategic Plan.

A sub-committee of the Board of Directors, made up of President Lance Nading, Gail Stolzenberg, Noboru Saito, Jim Webb and Jason Rivera with the guidance of Rachel Isaacs of the USOC, and Neil Simon (USJF President) as a paid consultant, put the finishing touches on this organic and living document that will serve as the vision for USA Judo for decades to come.

The document outlines several key guiding principles for the organization and spells out clearly the Vision, Mission and

Goals of USA Judo as we move into 2012 and beyond. It also defines the objectives that the organization must achieve in order to meet its vision of the future and successfully attain its goals.
