Konan will be hosting current San Jose State Coach, Shintaro Nakano (4th Dan), at a two day clinic on June 11/12 at Saito Dojo in Birmingham, MI.

You can attend one, or both days and this  is a perfect way to prepare for the Junior Nationals in July.

Nakano-sensei has been a member of the Japanese National Team at 60 and 66 Kg between 1998 and 2008 and has placed 1st in the US Open (2004) and in the Japanese Industrial Championships(2004) and 5th in the Kodokan Cup twice (2006/7).

    Yes, adults are very welcome. This will be a great clinic for coaches and instructors as well as junior competitors. Nakano-sensei is judo coach and instructor and instructor at San Jose State University in California, the college judo center of the US.
