USJF and Konan are looking for male and female contestants for consideration for the Sanix event in Japan in December. This is very unique tournament and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for young judoka, 13 and 14 years old. The trip is fully chaperoned and supervised. Although trip has financial support from USJF and Konan, out of pocket costs could be around $1,000+.

1. Depart USA – Tuesday, 12/21/10
2. Arrive Fukuoka – Wednesday, 12/22/10
3. Depart Fukuoka – Wednesday, 12/29/10
4. Arrive USA – Wednesday, 12/29/10
Age: Athletes must be born on or after April 2, 1996 (4/2/96 or later)
Depending on amount of USJF funding, USJF may cover some of the following expenses:
- Training camp expenses (including room & board)
- Partial airfare reimbursement
Athlete Expenses:
- Airfare to & from Fukuoka
- Spending money
