USA Judo and USJA Sign Agreement (Colorado Springs, Colo.) – USA Judo and the United States Judo Association announced this morning that the two organizations have signed an agreement to move forward and work together for the good of the sport and judo athletes in the United States. This announcement came following the signing of a document on Friday which outlines a working plan for moving into the future by the presidents of both organizations. “It is obvious to all concerned, and more importantly to both of our organizations’ leaderships, that we need better and more frequent communication and cooperation between our two groups,” said USA Judo President Lance Nading (Denver, Colo.) “As the National Governing Body for the sport of judo, it is important for us to work with every group who can help us move the sport forward at all levels.
