Konan Judo

Konan’s George Truong (Colorado Springs, Colo. / Ju Shin Kan) was the Outstanding Male Competitor of the USA Judo Youth and Scholastic National Championships after winning both the Juvenile B (15-16-year-olds) and IJF-Junior (Under-20) 60kg divisions.  A Cadet World Team member as a 55kg player in 2009, Truong was undefeated throughout the day, winning eight straight matches.

Nearly 400 athletes competed during in the tournament on Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14,  in Spokane, Wash.

A USA Judo Junior Point Tournament, the event included top players from throughout the nation in divisions for 5-19-year-olds.

Congratulations to George and Paul Truong, Head Sensei at Ju Shin Kan Judo Club.
